The goal of this project is to convert a functioning garage into a residential daycare space with a Montessori teaching method. To bring the outdoors into this city location, we will be creating a bright and welcoming space with live & decorative florals and plants. Using color psychology, we have chosen vibrant hues of teal, lilac, and yellow to bring the room to light.

A sunroom will blend the interior & exterior spaces allowing for a year-round outdoor experience. A water table promotes play-learning, while an art station is provided to foster creativity.

The petit backyard will feature a small garden for learning as well as a Montessori play structure and tricycle track for exercise..
