Representing the client's travel & ocean life style, the vision for the space is a fun, compact surf shack that brings the vibes of the beach to their ADU. The color scheme consists of warm whites, natural wood tones, ocean green-blues, light coral, and a mixture of brass and chrome accents.

Sustainability was of vital importance to this client, so our first priority was to consider the energy and resource consumption of all the building materials and appliances that will be used. Careful placement of this mobile ADU on the property and the use of passive solar, green materials, and advanced framing techniques (OVE) will minimize the intensity of the San Jose sun on this space.
